Zipper Damaged/ Pants Got a Mini Rip?
I know this may sound funny. But if one day in the middle of the road/meeting seminar you've discover your zipper damaged or your pant's got a hole right at the butt behind.
- You can go turn back home. It'll be another 6 hours+ before you can leave.
- Yet at times you've to get up & walk about.
- Your shirt can cover up but just a bit.
- You can carry your briefcase around to cover it up.
- Uh yeah nobody wears the same size as you.
- There are no shops around much, except those that sell long ceremony/dinner dress. Which can be costly.
- Worst of all.... you're a FEMALE with period that day & you didn't want to see your pad >__< for obvious reasons.

See if you can find a spool of thread and a needle and sew the durn thing shut in the ladies's room during a break. You might have to sew yourself into the pants and cut yourself out when you get home, but you won't be flashing people at least. If you are at a hotel or motel or if there is one nearby, they usually have little sewing kits and I'm sure that most places would give you one if you asked nicely, but for sure you could get one for $1.
Also, in future, put a couple of needles (you can buy them cheap at a fabric store) through and through a 3x5 card, then wrap some black and some white thread around the needles in a figure 8. Put the whole thang in a snack-size ziplock bag and stash it in a pocket of your purse, your briefcase, or your suitcase. Then you'll be ready for trouble if it happens again! You will also be able to save someone else's bacon if necessary. (I've rescued two brides with my handy-dandy sewing kit.)
