Tips on tightening the screws on glasses? When I try the screwdriver keeps slipping out of the screw?
I can't keep the bugger in the notch and turn the damn driver! My wrists must be very weak. I've tried setting them on my thigh and then pressing down after inserting the end into the slot and turning but it does not work. 
First take a look at the end of the screwdriver if it is the flat blade type, it should be nice and straight across, if it is all rounded on the corners, bent, twisted, etc it needs to be re-ground or replaced. Also check the little screw carefully, maybe the slot is all gouged out of shape so the screwdriver won't engage properly. If the screwdiver is too big, it won't fit all the way down the slot and it will slip out. It is also possible that the screw is in cross-threaded, or bent. Usually places like Walmarts and hardware stores sell a little kit with several of the tiny screws and a screwdriver, if you need to replace either one. One last thing, some of the glasses that have the spring-loaded side things, if the screw comes part way out, because of the spring force, it gets wedged crooked in the hole and very difficult to get it to screw back into the hole the rest of the way.
