Will a dull electric shaver cause ingrown hairs?
I have a Braun 8595 that is a bit over 2 years old now. Have always enjoyed shaving with this razor because i have found it to cause much less irritation then using a blade. I have taken good care of the shaver but will admit that i am passed the 18mo recomended time for changing the shaver head.
I've noticed that over the last several months i have been expiearancing more and more ingrown hairs and they are really starting to drive me nuts!
Do you think dropping the $40-50 bucks for a new shaver head will help, or does a dull blade not have anything to do with ingown hairs?
Also, with this razor i have to shave against the grain (as with most electics) so i dont know if that has anything to do with it.
not sure about ingrown hairs, but it would do you good to replace it anyway, for hygene issues and such.
