PHYSICS PROBLEM need solution please .....thanks?
1. An inclined plane makes an angle of 30degree with the horizontal and has an efficiency of 80%. What effort is necessary to move a load of 100 lbs. up the incline?
2. A system of 4 pulleys, two in each block has an IMA of 5. If a force of 200 lbs is needed to hoist an 800-lb load, determine the efficiency of the machine and draw a simple machine set-up.

For ideal machine W sin θ = P1
P1 = 100 sin 30 = 50 lb
Since the efficiency is 80 %
The actual force needed is 50 / [80%] = 62.5 N

M.A = 5.
Hence to lift a load of 800 it is enough
if an effort of 800 /5 = 160 lb is applied.
But actually a force of 200 lb is used.
160 / 200 = 0.8.
Efficiency is 80%
