Do you have unpaid wages or PTO from Universal Health Care St Petersburg, Florida -?
If you are one of the many employees who resigned, got laid off and subsequently experienced either unpaid wages, unpaid PTO, etc end of 2009 begining of 2010 - please reply - Class Action Suit considered to recover unapdi PTO and obtain liquidated damages. I resigned from UHC by providing and working 2 full weeks. This ethical and professional manner of resigning resulted in UHC refusing to let me take the PTO and refusing to pay for the accrued PTO on my last day of employment. I have heard of similar incidents and tactics from previous employees of UHC I have met in Tampa Bay since resigning and I would like to file a joint class action suit
some states consider Vacation as wages and must be paid upon separation from the company, Florida is not one of those states. Unless the employer has policy that says you will get your vacation pay upon separation and doesn't follow it you may have a case if they do not then your attorney is not being honest with you.
