Plastic Handle Easy
The handle on my jacuzzi pool sand filter snapped off, any ideas on how to fix it/make it work?
This handle controls a diverter valve that allows you to choose back washing, filter, drain...etc. After extensive searching all I came up with is that I'd have to replace the whole valve at a cool $150 or more. This whole pool set up was in place when we moved in and is in rather poor condition, we really only intend to have it survive this summer. I have had to use a screwdriver and a pry bar to coax the spring loaded knob into the different positions so I could open the pool. Besides that this is no easy task, especially under a cramped deck, the plastic is brittle and I've broken off several small chunks using this barbaric method, yet no other way has presented itself.
You could have easily replaced the handle. But now after you broke more plastic pieces off your fucked.
