Sky+HD/PS3 Surround sound?
Ok,this is now driving me nuts!!
After finally getting my pro logic 5.1 surround sound to work via optical cable,i encounter another problem.
The set up is as follows,optical cable from my sony surround sound to a splitter,2 optical cables running from splitter to Sky+hd and PS3.Sky works fine with this but my PS3 does not.PS3 is set up correctly in settings for optical usage.The only way i can get 5.1 sound from my PS3 is to disconnect the optical cable for sky from the splitter.As far as i am aware i have set it up correct.The one thing i am waiting for is a hdmi splitter so i can 3 hdmi's,PS3,Sky and my 5.1 Sony surround.Is this the reason for the problem.i was hoping i could just change Between hdmi for sky and hdmi for PS3 and they would both work.
Help please!
might sound daft but when you switch to ps3 are you putting sky into standby?
