Would a 15.4 in. laptop fit in a 15 in. laptop case?
I know this sounds retarded but don't we all ask dumb questions every ONCE in awhile? o.O lol Anyways, i want to buy a sony vaio EB (i wanted a toshiba qosmio but after i'm done tricking out the sony and throwing all the top notch stuff in it, it would STILL come out cheaper than the toshiba) and it's 15.4 inches. HOWEVER, i REALLY want these cases for it but they're 15 inches.

Like is a 15 in. laptop case just a general size used for all 15 something laptops or is it SPECIFICALLY for 15 in. laptops? o.O
I would try to find a bigger case...but if you want to check for yourself then go down to Best Buy or some other electronics store and measure the case (before you buy online).
Remember laptops are measured diagonally, and so are the cases.
