having major trouble with wireless ADSL starter kit?!?
we have bought a D-link wireless ADSL starter kit so that my son can use his laptop wirelessly through my computer. my set up is as follows: telephone cable with ADSL filter with phone line and speedtouch modem attached. My problem is if I set up as per the instructions then the modem cable does not go anywhere? and so cannot connect and if I put that in then the DSL on the box does not light - anyone help????
right first of all is there a modem in the wireless kit, if thats the case thats where your problem lies, you can only connect one modem to the net at one time, if not then you need to install the drivers for the d-link wireless connection, wow this is confusing, e-mail me and try to describe exactly what your layout is e.g which d-link starter kit, does the kit contain a router and so on and so forth.
