How do i remove the oil cooler lines by the oil filter?
i have a 95 k1500 and im changing my oil cooler lines due to a leak. i know the side by the radiator needs an open ended wrench 13/16, but i cant figure out how to get the other side out, by the oil filter. does it pop out by squeezing it with pliers? any info is appreciated. thanks
also do i have to lift the engine to replace these?
the new oil cooler lines i have look like they snap in somehow.
I'm not for sure about your particular application, but many of those just have one bolt centered between the two lines. After the bolt is removed there is an "O" ring on each line. I hope that helps.
