Is this a balanced diet?

Breakfast: 2 8oz glasses of water, kashi cereal bar and a cup of fruit (blue berries and strawberries)

AM snack: 1 8 oz glass of water,100 calorie pack of blue diamond almonds (no salt or anything added just plain old unsalted almonds)

Lunch: 2 8oz glasses of water, organic pb&j on whole wheat pita bread and an apple

PM snack: 1 8 oz glass of water,100 calorie pack of craisins

dinner: 2 8 oz glasses of water, baked 6 oz chicken with steamed veggies

Sorta. I think you are low on intake. Add a little more to each meal without really boosting the calories much and you will keep your body's metabolism going.

Looks good. I suggest eating more than 100 calories udring your snacks.

Also find foods that you can swap out at every meal and snacks with about the same nutritional value. It will make your dietary change seem less like a chore and you will be less likely to drop the routine with more variety.

Add in exercise too.
