Craftsman Polished Wrench
Armstrong or Craftsman?
I've been looking for a good set of wrenches. I priced out a 15 piece Armstrong set of long combination wrenches-standard: for $310. I could get a snap-on or Matco set for a little more probably. Then just in my travels i saw a set that looked pretty decent at sears. It was a 28 piece craftsman professional set of combination wrenches in standard and metric. this was going for $169. now i have never been a big fan of craftsman wrenches, but these looked real similar to the Armstrong wrenches that i currently have, full polish etc. What would you choose?
Yeah i've been working as a small engine mechanic for 3 years now. I've used snap-on and armstrong. I do not like the craftsman wrenches that i have used but these look a little different. I don't know i might go look at them
I don't know much about Armstrong but Craftsman have a strong name and support behind them. My take is spend a little extra and get the Snap-On wrenches. I've never heard of anyone with issues with a Snap-On tool.
