How much trouble could someone get in if they posted (with tape) big posters.........(click to read more)?
How much trouble could someone get in if they posted (with nothing but tape thats easy to take off) big posters with nothing offensive or obstructive of any kind and is completely clean and safe inside a public building without any permission (just once and not repeatedly or anything) ??? this is just hypothetical. i just want to know if they can actually get into trouble?
If you did this in my state, you would not be charged with a crime under state law.
However, many cities have many crazy city ordinances. Although it is unlikely, it is possible that you could be charged with either a petty misdemeanor or misdemeanor for an ordinance violation.
However, if your sign is benign (doesn't offend), doesn't damage any property, and you didn't break into the building to post it, it is unlikely that you would be prosecuted.
