Letter from Prison
My sweet little darling, don't you cry
Mama'll be back, this isn't good bye.
You miss your daddy? I'm sure you do
oh darling, he probably misses you too
you'll understand soon, why your daddy is dead.
Why I stabbed him, cut him, put some blows to his head.
You see my pumpkin, he deserved to die
He was either drunk, or very high.
He would always push me, beat me up too
He'd kicked, he'd punched, til I was black and blue
I didn't mind it my dear, cause it was centered on me
But when he touched you, it was different you see.
Like a mama bear, protecting her cub
Perhaps it nature, with some love.
You're so grown now, and I'm missing out.
But know that I love you, that's no doubt
We'll meet real soon, face to face
You'll see angel, I'll get out of this place.
it's good, when you put the rhymes in there it sort of creates a light hearted and lyrical mood which is a contrast to the actual content, that's not nessecarily a bad thing but something to be aware of
