How do you safely remove new Royal Mail stamps?
Hi.
Does anyone know how to remove the new Royal Mail tamper-proof stamps without damaging the stamp?
I am an amateur stamp collector and this is proving a bit frustrating. I have tried steaming as well as dipping them in hot water but neither way seems to work that well.

I used to be a collector for many years. (No longer)
"Soaking stamps" a bowl of luke warm water, usually for just a few minutes does the trick, the paper slides right off without damaging the stamp. But lay them flat, face down (glue side up) on a paper towel and leave them on a flat surface to dry naturally, adding a heat source makes them brittle.
