BMW 325 Brakes Repair - URGENT?
I have a 2004 BMW 325. It has been giving some sound when I apply the brakes. I took it to a local automotive outfit (locally reputed) for estimate and this is what he gave:
Replace Front Brake Discs (134) +Pads (70)+Sensors (15)+ Labor (112)
Replace Rear Brake Discs (151) + Pads (71) + Sensors (18) + Labor (128)
Flush and Fill Brake Fluid (80)
Control Arm Busing Kit (157) + Labor (272)
Replacement Coil Spring Rear (312) + Labor (200)
Total = $1900
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS IS REASONABLE OR WAY OVER NORMAL. Please treat this as Urgent
You're not over paying nor are you under paying. But you are paying pretty close to dealer price, not an independent shop's price.
Rear springs already on a 2004? Seems too soon unless a lot of miles or you're upgrading them.....
